Kahaani Series
An Art of Storytelling through Dance
Kahaani (Story):
From time immemorial, Kahaaniyaan (stories) carried within them the infinite wisdom of Universe to assist the humans living on this planet. It is through the Art of Storytelling, the wise (sages) of the past have transformed the energy of magnificent universal intelligence into simple and easy to understand stories, and shared it with common folk through the medium of words (writing scriptures/books, presenting through talks etc.,), visual arts and performing arts (singing, dancing, acting etc.,).
Though very simple, these stories still carried within them the energy of the universal wisdom. The one who read, heard, viewed or consumed these stories (through different mediums) and the energy of universal intelligence, experienced an expansion of their inner heart (soul), which further allowed them to grow and expand into their limitless potential and joyful living on this planet.
While some stories were simple in expression, others were very elaborate with characters and multiple short stories for each of those characters. Regardless, each of these stories had something to share. A message, a wisdom nugget, a way of being, the needs and don’ts of life, methods to cope and adjust to changing times, a path (or different paths) leading to the growth (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) and well-being of humans through the stages of evolution, and so on. Stories were often created and improvised with social and cultural references for the easier adaptation by the people of different regions and cultures.
With evolving times, new story tellers emerged and along with them new stories as well. Storytelling became a medium of creative expression for many to share an inspiration, an emotion, an experience, an observation or an inner knowing. And each of these stories carried and still carry within them a truth (or perception) of universal wisdom based on where The Creator of the story (Storyteller) was/is on their path of their personal evolution.

Kahaani Series:
We are right now in the phase of human evolution where conscious living (living with awareness) is becoming a choice of living for many. And with that also comes up for resolution the habits and methods of past which mostly emerged from an unconscious living (lack of awareness, conditioning and misunderstanding of the deeper universal wisdom) for many centuries. Conscious living sheds light on the patterns that we carry unconsciously conflicting with the choices and inspiration emerging from our inner heart in the present.
Examples: “Eating processed and unhealthy foods just because we crave for it Vs Eating natural and organically grown vegetables”, “I can’t make any mistakes attitude Vs Learn from mistakes and grow attitude” and so many other conflicts in so many different areas.
Where there is conflict, there is a possibility of inner heart expansion upon resolution.
At PCIPA, we realize the importance of embracing this phase of evolution in the human history by bringing to awareness some of these conflicts that both children and adults come across in their everyday life and help them see it creatively in the light of universal wisdom through the ancient art of storytelling.
We bring to you this powerful mode of creative expression and storytelling through the medium of Performing Arts (Dance and Act) as, Kahaani Series!
These classes practice and include:
What to expect?

Dance For A Cause:
PCIPA through Kahaani Classes is introducing a new Video Series called, 'Dance For A Cause'!
The purpose of this dance video series is to 'Share Positivity through Art'. Every social cause needs attention. When attention is driven to a cause, what unearths is not just pros and cons of that cause, it brings forth the resistance we experience to change along with the scope for an expanded vision around that cause. There is bitterness and there is hope, there is movement and there is resistance, there are beliefs and disbeliefs all around the cause and in the same basket!
As artists we have the power to uplift and transform any situation/cause to light through our art. As we walk through the Kahaani (story) of a cause, we make room for the flow of acceptance and positivity along with peaceful vibes to enter this world through our art!
We(PCIPA) have set an intention to create such powerful dance presentations through our art and share it with the world (through video, stage performances etc.,) as, 'Dance For A Cause'!
